"Buried to Bloom" tells a visual narrative about a woman who personifies a seed that has been buried and is waiting to bloom and flower. This personification highlights an intense human experience of being trapped in a dark place, similar to being buried alive. This piece tells the viewer, I see you. Just because no one else sees the growth happening under the surface, doesn't mean that you are not getting ready to bloom. And sometimes we have to be positioned in difficult spaces in order to grow and reach our full potential.
